What is a Climate anxiety?
It refers to the negative impact of the climate crisis on the mental health of young people in particular. It is when people experience feelings of hopelessness, terror, pessimism as a result of disasters caused by the climate crisis, research on this issue, future predictions, and consequently experience anxiety disorders. It is more common in people who have personally witnessed environmental disasters caused by the climate crisis, such as tsunamis, forest fires, floods, forced migration.
